Love Letter

Do you ever awaken to a morning sun
rise lighting up the dawn, and hear the
birds chirping to awaken each new day.

Or saw a squirrel scampering up the
trees, startling the dashing bunny as
it scampers on it's way, hiding in the
flowers opening there petals of color
for the day.

Have you ever felt the noontime heat
as the sun reaches it's daytime peak,
seen a cloud touching a mountain peak,
heard waves splashing on a beach,or
saw the ripples across a breezy lake.

At twilight have you ever saw the glow
of sunset with it's kaleidoscope of
colors, and watched the birds winging
on to roost, and felt the evening breeze
against your face,have you ever touched
the rushing waters of a cool mountain
stream.

Have you ever heard the coyotes yelping
at the moon, and listen to the whippoorwills
song singing in the night, with the hooting
of a owl high in the trees, and in the distance
hear the whistle of a train.

Have you ever experienced a moon beam
brightly flickering through the trees at night,
or seen a shooting star streaking across the
dark night sky, with twinkling stars winking
as it passes by.

Take my hand              , end your solitude,
and let us walk this journey together, and see
these reflections of life, looking deep into each
others eyes, let us cherish these experiences
