DESIRE" I ASKED MY SOUL A QUESTION I DIDN`T WANT NO LIES ARE THE FIRES WITHIN ME EVER TO ARISE? I GAZED UPON A GAUNT FIGURE A TIRED AND TWISTED MAN REALISING MY REFLECTION THAT MOMENT MY LIFE BEGAN FOR TOO LONG I`VE BEEN TOO CAUTIOUS FOR TOO LONG I`VE BEEN TOO LONELY FOR TOO LONG I`VE BEEN TOO SAD NO MORE `IF ONLY` THE FLAMES OF DESIRE ALTHOUGH COVERED IN BARBWIRE WILL LIFT ME FROM THIS QUAGMIRE FROM NOW I WILL INSPIRE NOW I EXCITEDLY DREAM THAT I WILL REIGN SUPREME LIKE THE CAT THAT GOT THE CREAM FOR ITS TRUE I`VE BEEN REDEEMED. |

I really enjoyed this poem. A lot of good expression in it. Cold hands means a warm heart |
