Broken Angel, hidden in disguise
Filling the world with petty lies
Hurting everyone you come upon,
So much better if you were gone

Hey Broken Angel, why don't you go
You're not welcome here, don't you know?
Run away from here, be on your way
Broken Angel, no one wants you to stay

Ride, ride away into the fading sunset
Ride until eternity you have met
Keep looking forward, gray eyes ahead
Broken Angel, you're gonna wind up dead

Take your crooked halo and then run
Broken Angel, your misdeeds won't be undone
You ended up here when you fell from the sky
And now, each night, to the heavens you cry

But Broken Angel, this isn't where you belong
So stop burdening us with your sad, sad song
Broken Angel, leave this life behind real fast
How long did you think the nightmare would last?

From your photo, you ARE an angel, so this "Broken Angel" cannot possibly be about you!...

Wow...how depressing, yet so intense. What inspired this, if you don't mind my asking?

Liz,
Honestly, one of my sister's tee shirts combined with some things that were going on in my life with various people inspired me on this one...but mostly my sister's shirt.

Justbleu,
Thanks! Glad you liked it.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Susan, this is so very heartaching but true, sweet friend, I too was broken this way until I turned to Him and now find much more solace in a troubled world! (sigh) You truly are an angel that keeps shining with hope and compassion through the grey, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Susan, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Noah Eaton,
I have to admit I peeked in to see if you left me a message and I'm so glad you did. You always know the right words to keep a smile on my face. Thanks, sweetie.

Joyce,
(smiles) Me too, I suppose. Always am a little embarassed when people ask me about the inspiration for this. Sometimes things like this just come to you, you know?

~A~,
Aww, how sweet of you. Thank you much.

MissKlarmic,
I'm so happy that you liked it. Thanks!
