Magic calls when full moon rises o'er horizon red
Not just lore, what you have heard the ancient Goddess said.
On this night of beauty, things can change so very fast
Pain won't last forever and the present now is past.

Allow the magic to surround, stand near the crashing waves
Here is opportunity for lovers to be saved
Open all the hidden channels, lying deep within
give free reign to all your hopes, for this time you shall win.

When her pull on tides is strong, the same force comes to you
never will the time improve, to do what you must do
Crumble up your troubles and throw caution to the wind
Say goodbye to sorrow, full moon magic rules again.

your gift of cadence made this a treat to read aloud...read like a chanting incantation...
very very cool...as is the imagery.
a perfect poem to represent you in the book

Ah the magic pull of the moon is deep and strong in this lovely piece of rhyme and meter.  Your words blend into myriad expressions of blissful mystique.  Very well done Sandra.

I fell in love with this poem, it's magic pulled me in like the tides that lay affected as ourselves.
This one definately has my vote.

WOW...wonderful cadence to this piece and you know me...I am a sucker for cadence.  Some would say I sort of have a thirst for it.  In any case, I loved it and you have a vote from me on this one hands down.
