Too much. S I M P L Y Angled thoughts again Incline a steep stair I must climb O R N O T Why is it that in such hours As leave us with a vacant tread Unheard Missing No longer here We know not the comfort of another’s arm To lean on, since severed From the shoulder of us the ghosted hands of were can not entwine fingers or wipe tears The sky is in break And squeezed drops fall cold On promised spring Too Much This old ache Too little These Words [This message has been edited by Cpat Hair (03-21-2003 04:33 PM).] |

(big hugggsssssss) There's no comfort in being adjacent to anything except on a straight surface, and it seems we are constantly being forced to play Chutes and Ladders nowadays and hope soon we can call it quits and everybody wins! (sigh) This is powerful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much, you have my vote! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ron, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Your poetry keeps me either sighing or crying or both. Though I am partial to your poem "Failing Words" I am still voting for this and hope both get voted in. You have a way of touching like no other. Enjoyed, Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Ron, i like the way you wrote this..thought "the ghosted hands of were" was simply delightful...will try to incorporate your technqiue (using verbs as nouns) in my future work you don't have your email listed so i can't write a personal email..forgive me for intruding on your space...i really want to thank you for your comments to my "For my younger brother"...you really hit it on the nail and practically said out everything i feel but am not quite willing to conceptualise yet...i was hence grateful for your words as they allowed me to confront a reality... still struggling to initate contact with my brother and i guess my path will be not be as arduous since i have your understanding...Bless you! |

I said "oh cool" out loud at your ending. You never have a problem with endings, do you? Lucky guy. Like the stairs-formatting, especially considering they go down rather than up. Nice touch. You're good at this, Ron, have I ever told you that? Here's my vote. Parasite "Faith" means the will to avoid knowing what is true. |

This poem is awesome, and very worthy of being in Reflections. Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent. |

As I followed the graceful decent of your words, I found myself falling--and I ended up landing on terra ferma with my feathers crumpled!---but your poem was still worth the read!--and then some! I enjoy the softness-with-an-edge style of your writing. Love & Light, Linda |

Thank you all... one and all.. individually some of you know me better than others..to those that do know me I say, the comfort of having been a part of such a group of people is rewarding and something I will not easily set aside.. to those that don't know me.. well.. there are few honors bestowed on us as individuals that in any way touch us as much as being recognized by peers... to have so many of the poets here comment on a piece of mine and to bump it back up a list.. is an honor that touches me deeply.. thank you |
