Dear Lyra, May you rest in peace with your son... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. [This message has been edited by Larry C (03-18-2003 07:03 PM).] |

Lyra, God bless you my friend. I got butterflies in my stomach when I saw your name. A beautiful, loving tribute to a son taken too soon. Loves and smiles, Marti Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts. A.Einstein |

I had no idea. Somehow the news slipped right by me. I don't even know what to say, except, I'm sure that Lyra is free of pain now, and is in the presense of the Lord. She will be sorely missed. |

I am moved deeply by this dedication of Love. This should most certainly should be in "Reflections" as a testament of the Lady Lyra's eloquent and tender Heart. Peace to Dave and family,Geoffrey If a man has not discovered something he is willing to die for,his life is not worth living. |

Rest in His tender arms tonight dear friend and poetess. ... I was shocked to read the news here tonight, I haven't been in here for a while... I was pulled to PIP tonight. God bless whoever had the forsight to pull this one out and dust it off. A fitting poem indeed for the book. Anew the light splits darkness, As another parts the veil, returns, For they have run their race, And having set their pace, Again meet their immortality face to face. I was reading with tears not knowing the full story until I read the replies. It is a beautiful poem that I would have voted for and now I think it should go into the book by unanimous vote. With special thoughts for a lovely soul. Joyce [This message has been edited by Joyce Johnson (03-19-2003 07:18 PM).] |

This entire poem timeless and universal. And these lines: . "Like ivy on a brick wall It's tendrils twining themselves Into the mortar of my soul." What she seems to have done with her love and kindness to so many here at Passions. May God bless and give strength and peace of mind to her family and friends she's left behind. . ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

There are never any words that can ease the depths of grief experienced by this type of loss. Then to compound that with another leaves one with a profound sense of confusion, sadness and dismay. It is obvious that this poet has touched the lives of many. May the loving God grant her and her family grace and peace. |
