Oh Sharon, I want to see British Columbia sooooooo much, sweet nfriend, our good friend Bill Charles is actually moving up to the heart of the mountains in B.C (matches his initials, LOL!) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Thank you so much for letting me show a little Canadian pride, there are not that many of us that i am aware of anyway on site, and wanted to do a little holiday promoting too - your dollar is worth $1.505 right now, so you would enjoy it more! |

Sharon, You make me home sick for the northwest. I'd love to be a closer neighbor but my wife can't handle the weather! Such an excellent write. And here's a vote to put my money where my heart is. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Thank you for reading this one as I said this home, my family and faith are the closest things to my heart. And Larry, show your wife my email I just took the picture 5 minutes ago of a sunset here. Funny, I can't stand the heat in the desert at all, but that is what makes us all so different. good thing too. ~* Carpe' Diem *~ [This message has been edited by Mysteria (02-20-2003 08:16 PM).] |

"Here tall cedar trees sway a light ballet as a breeze whispers down a forest path. The sea itself waltzes into the shore, then lazily ebbs out again in sun’s bath." I hope to see this with my own eyes one day |

I am so glad this came to me before this ended, as it is really hard to figure what to put in here, your friends, family, your feelings, your home? This is a true story, I used to come every summer to stay with an Aunt and Uncle, and one summer I came when I was old enough to make that decision, and never went home. I left everything behind for what lay ahead, and I have never once been sorry or looked back. You have made my day liking this. Bill, now you know how I feel about this place right? Kit is coming in March and I am going to dazzle her socks off! Thanks everyone. |

How could I possibly NOT vote for such an exquisite sight... One I was fortunate enough to see for myself... and... My personal story of settling on Cape Cod is pretty much the same... just a different aunt and uncle.... |

I remember when I was living in the San Juan Islands. I was 8 miles from Victoria. I would lay on the beach and just stare across the 8 mi. of ocean into B.C. It was incredible and amazingly peaceful. Great portrayal of something so beautiful... KS |

Martie - same offer goes to you anytime! Maureen - It is the mountain air, how clean it is, and crime free I guess that makes this city what it is, hope you get to see it one day. KristieSue - Ah yes, San Juan Islands are paradise that is for sure, and the beaches there are increidble as well for miles just surf and sands. |

Absolutely stunning. Your love for your home is abundantly apparent in the carefully chosen words recalling the splendor and variety of the land. My parents took a bus tour through Western Canada a few years back and they returned home with many wonderful visions to share. Thank you for posting this wonderful poem. |

I grew up in Northern Ontario and have also lived in BC, Alberta, and New Brunswick, and I must say that Canada's beauty is vast. You capture it so well in this poem! You make me miss home --- A Canadian temporarily displaced in California |

Martie - the door is open for you anytime, and that's a fact! White Rose - Thank you kindly and yes I am very proud of the place I hang my hat. waldopepper - Too bad you didn't tag along it is a fantastic ride up this way. Skyfire - Now I KNOW you know We've got it all here have we not? Red - I hope you find you home again in the not too distant future - but I guess if I was going to be displaced, California is not the worst place to be. Thank you all for reading my poem. |
