Oh love what hast thou done to me? Improbable, thy seeming chill when once such heat did perpetrate thy game of hearts upon my will. Oh love, what chocolate bittersweet has found its way unto thy heart? Though velvet melt did beckon me thy action hast torn us apart. Oh love, what falsity is this? thou protestations be unclear for words once penned with silken lies have come to show me naught but tears. Oh love, shall this our ending be with coolest nod and shadowed eye? No longer hast thou need of me abandoned thus, I bid goodbye. You are a master at writing the landscape of the jilted -- and though it might not be a barrel of laughs for ya, I always enjoy your insights into the state of bein' alone. Mikey |

How well you use the ancient style...beautiful poetry and sad...better to wait for the best, of which you richly deseve! Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Oh yes, and this is perfect!! Especially loved the texture of the second verse, addicted to chocolate as I am! Great one to add, lil sis! Accept these small gifts from my gypsy soul, and let the magik happen! ~~S~~ |

Sandra, This is the first of your poetry I've read. So very well written and heart touching. Now, I need to go find others which you've written; sure I'll not be disappointed. Enjoyed greatly, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Ah yes the other side of love. What with valentine's day surely there should also be a day devoted to the ending of romance..yunno Roses are red violets are blue I loved you once but gooooood I hate you.. could have cards and everything. sigh don't mind me I'm just a little heartless and insane |
