I’ve no reason To wallow in this silence Of our usual nothing of mean As we talk and pretend The things said Indeed are weighted With love’s intent or need not be said for that would be pandering to insecure of me and show of weak. such a waste of time you say. Still I am here Straining to feel Just one touch in Braille As you might want to read The things written on my skin The things etched in my marrow So much the like of these empties Is the snow and how I drift In living what I have chosen. though in attempt it is frozen on this page and lacks the lines or notes to make it heard I have no reason Still I am in tactile need. Please, touch me? |

Why ask Why...good question..but sometimes why is the only question that one can find.. appreciate your reading and your thoughts... Gem: Sometimes the knowing isn't enough for others... and the need is seem as weakness that can not be accepted.. thanks for dropping in... Duncan... Ron, Very touching. The other side of the coin is that sometimes the knowing isn't enough because that produces a kind of fear that someone eventually 'better' will come along who could be trusted with ....all....make sense? ( in part) then there is the difficulty of having a growing relationship, when one is shut down... Hugs to you, and if I had a kissy cheek little guy like Serenity with my Webtv, I'd give you one on the other cheek..... just for all the great poetry you share with us....and for touching us so deeply with your extraordinary poems....
