LOVER

What an exquisite lover you are,
Your imagination
Is unfettered, free.
You create a fantasy world
Which extends
Far beyond the bedroom.
You fuel the fires of passion,
And I never tire of your touch,
I savor your closeness.
The smell of your being lingers
Long after you are gone,
And I cradle myself, in the warmth
Of your love.

Together - sexually
We are without a doubt,
Magnificent.
But you take me far beyond
The realms of that,
You have surrounded me
With love.
It engulfs and protects me,
Your body is my escape
From the harsh world
Of frightening realities.

I rejoice
In your unselfishness,
I rejoice - in you
