Forbidden How sweet the taste of Stolen fruits, When first you appreciate That, which belongs To someone else. Joyfully, wondrously, But momentarily It is yours. How bitter the taste of Stolen fruits, When you are discovered In your acts of coveting And pillaging. The vulgarity of the deed, Unlike the transitory pleasure, Is forever yours. |
