*~~~~*

Moonlight melodies
flowing from the velvet skies
with soft caressings
The twinkle of stars
as if keeping the rhythm
with a steady beat
Of a sweet love song
clearly playing in our hearts
as we gaze above
Into the clear sky
holding each other closely
with tender touches
We sing a duet
underneath the moonlit sky
in sync together
Such pleasure we feel
with love surrounding us both
as music we hear
Leaving impressions
of everlasting love shared
in our hearts always

Undying love, hopeless romantic, these are just some of the labels you wear with such pride and such grace Ethel

You romantic, you!

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

Wow, this was excellent! Reminds me of a piece I wrote called "The Stars Lark" which I shall post. Not nearly as good as this though.

We walk slowly,
caught in the touch of our hands
While visions dance around us
The Stars lark, listening to our Love
Spellbound by our romance
They flicker with applause from above

Our hearts beat as one,
Echoing to heaven
As we look into each others eyes
Our enchanted moment is silent
Awaiting the Sound of our kiss

The touch of our lips
Steals our breath away
Blessed moment we will cling
Our love so right, so dear,
Now we hear, the angels in heaven sing

And as our hearts entwine with our love
the stars and heaven our love has witnessed
We'll seal with a kiss,
in total bliss
Our Love
Our gift from God, Above

Dennis, thank you for reading and replying to my poem. I really appreciate it.
Oh, and the beautiful poem you posted on this thread is quite all right. No need to delete it. When I first came here I put things on that I tried to delete, and couldn't. Now I try to edit everything before I click the "submit" button. But, like I said, it's completely okay that you put the poem here. It just might have gotten more attention if you had posted it on a seperate thread.
Anyway, I really think your poetry is good. You are a very talented writer, Dennis, and I hope to read a lot more of your poetry.

Ethel, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
