Passage 36 A baby face that bit As her disguised rampage walked Unburdened by this sense Accustomed to fixed emotions With every verb past tense. A dreamer that stayed silent A wanderer that searched for glory Through the ruffled sheets Laid their whole life story. She danced steps with a twinkle toe And barked atrocities He weighted her innate sense That indulged in delightful animosities. They kept finding each other Meetings said to be the last What was there to expect When the present forgot the past. My poetry online |
