Destiny She had flown by With every sense passed Like a breeze bristling Through four seasons last. Known before you pondered Written with her fine ink and hand The moment she laid eyes on you Your truly yours life began. Wearing your pretty pink dress Fitted in your nice blue jeans She had made you perfect Showing you what love means. Days she broke your darling heart Days she sprinkled candy kisses She had made you perfect Revealing what a naked soul misses. My poetry online |

"Revealing what a naked soul misses"--love the poem, LOVE this line--applause! "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |
