pull the string and stretch the bow taut on taut releasing tears and let the whine gypsy the stars... I reach for non-existant shawl swaying to the fire of ancient memory of cell one foot padding dust in sway... ssssssh... a timble of the tambourine I play behind my back distracting eyes that stare to flame sing the round (sing the round) echo home's infinity let the flute sigh my despair pour me one more mug of mead... |

Ser. I can see you in two scenarios... One where you have your black cape, pointed hat and broom....chanting to the cauldron bubbling with some spicy brew of manliness. and secondly...the gypsy woman....twirling, swirling, with her tambourine... Oh yes.. definitely... |

Oh my...I am grinning here. Coco, oh coco...you caught me again. (sometimes I write poems I forget about and yep, this is one of 'em--and then Coco pops in and kicks me to the top, and I jump at the sight of my own name. Sort of like startling yourself in a mirror...grin) Thank you kind folks...shaking my head here. sheesh. I'm a nut. |

You just may be my Nawlins gypsy twin, the one who learned to dance before the fire's bright lights while I hid within the cool night shadows. Just where did I leave my tambourine? |
