Doorway thoughts

Each time passing that doorway
Fearing thoughts wonder why you left and didn't stay
Why do you make us go through this hell?
Right now, what I want to do is scream and yell

For this all is getting hard to handle:
Being afraid you're blowing out your life's candle
Shattering hopes, each day again they revive
But over and over they are stabbed to death by a knife

With hope vanished, I do charish one thought:
for you to consider how hard we allready fought
My strength's almost up, do remember that
So give me the best Christmas gift... by being a good dad

The darkness

Shadows and darkness all around
not a single person dares to make a sound
For all are too afraid
to tempt the darkness, and provoke what they hate

A clear sky and sunny bright days
is the thing people hope, in so many different ways
But future doesn't plan to introduce happiness
For it made a pact with the fearfull being of darkness

So what are those fears to do now?
Just to wait while constant is their growl?
For people do have a limit on their emotional rate
And crossing that line, makes you enter a painfull state

The greatest thing u'll ever learn
is just to love
and be loved
in return

Zenny, I hope that winter will be kind to you. It sounds as if you are going through a rough time, and could use a bit of sunshine in your life. Shadows and darkness do surround, but there is always a ray of hope within the warmth of the sun. I will light a candle of peace and hope for you, hope you like lavender, vanilla or raspberry scents.
