Looking for any critique or feedback or ideas Endospores My thoughts are like endospores Wrapped in a coat Without hope of ever being free Please believe, to write Is to love Maybe not a poet, but a speaker of his beliefs To share with all the lonely thoughts Bottled up inside me Hiding me from this thing called conformity Where blonde hair and blank stares Substitute for the black hole Growing around this materialistic society Originality? Finds no home here You better go catch the bus to Mexico Whoa! What do you mean Bush runs a tyranny? No, war on Iraq Sounds good to me Don’t you know we have a slumping economy? Keep talking like that son You will be in the next draft of imperialistic greed. See to me those boys overseas Are nothing but machines Led to the stream where lions scream Sir don’t you understand Muslims as well as Christians play a hand Don’t matter to me Cuz war is part of history And Peace but a pipe dream Do you believe You can change this dirty rag into something clean? No more war! "Imagine what you would do if you knew no one was looking" |
