Hold the line; sword in hand
I live to follow each command.
Warriors fighting to each side,
Along the front, too many die.

We need more, stronger
Filling gaps.
You need to stand,
When they collapse.

Our swords, together
Flash as one.
Our enemy
Must die, or run.

Hold the line, and lean on me
I’ll not give up; I’ll never flee.
Let battle cries pierce through the air
Let every breath be made in prayer.

Come on and fight,
I know; it’s hard.
Get up; stand strong
And take your guard.

When others fall,
We struggle more.
Get up, lets fight
This crazy war.

As one warrior to another, I must say this religious endeavor is terrific.

I love it, and the attitude and firm determination. Smiling here. Again, that is my take on it, with all your poetry I have to think and that is a very good sign of a very good poetess!
Hugs and love, and a happy Valentine's Day to you!

(tears fall down my cheeks) Though I am anti-war and believe this war is very unnecessary, I will stand behind our soldiers by whatever means for their protection and safety!

(big hugggssssss) I still find this war ridiculous nevertheless I keep praying, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing, and have a...

May love and light always shine upon you!

Eric,
I'm afraid I have much to say on most everything... but I'm glad you feel I expressed it well, here! you're welcome and thank you!

Pat,
Why not be determined? only took david a sling and some stones I'm glad you got my meaning for this, because of course, knowing me, I was speaking of Faith and the battle of everyday. Glad to make you think, though!

Happy Valentines day to you both!
Always, Alyssa

Dixie,
thank you! Sad thing is I'm weak... glad though to know the war is won, and I have some good armor and one great sword.

Noah,
please no tears! I'm glad to see you standing in unity with out soldiers, though this poem wasn't originally intentioned towards the war between countries... I'm always excited to see what others decipher from it. Thank you for the sweet and beautiful reply

Happy Valentines Day!
Always, Alyssa

Alyssa, I also knew that you were speaking of the battle of every day life. As His Word says, there is a battle of spirits going on inside every single second. right? But, like you said, a Christian has the armor needed to overcome...

Happy Valentine's Day Allyssa...

Ethel,
I'm honored you know and understand   thank you much. And yes, the battle is not against flesh and blood.. but against rulers and against authorities and against powers of this dark world. And the spiritual forces of evil up in the heavens.

I suppose that is where faith comes in. We all have it... just where we choose to put it that matters. Thanks for the reply.

Always, Alyssa
