I've always wanted to be an astronaut

The touch of cool skin
Saturn Rings
Mercury rising over Venus' thigh
Icarus high
Melting wax wings on cold nebulous flesh

Fresh Touch
Awakened dreams over I lie in bed
With his arm over me pinning me solid
Milky Way Smooth
Feel of him beside

I've always wanted to be an astronaut

The great taste of rocketships still reside
In real-time light-speedy love
His breathing the slow repeating collapse of a star
Unmarred and Perfect
Galactic spinning lovely brown eyes

Clear and Present
In love with the sky
My solar system guy
Exploring and treating with any good respect
Like a favourable conquest

New Quest
Everyday With
Searching our homeworld together within
Filling the Blackness
With Memories

The countdown's begun, starting again
I'll discover new traces of life
in each face he'll make
When I tell him my dreams
Have finally come true

I am an Astronaut

woah!!! this is amazing, makes me want to fly high in the essence of love, wonderment, and exploration

(sigh) I think we all dream to be astronauts of this sort, swimming in the stars, and I feel as though God is always helping us to see through the telescope destinies we lay before us knowing they can exist and do exist!
