Now I can begin to tell you
No…I’m sorry…keep up the silence
Seems so long ago, somehow
Perhaps it were only yesterday
The mind still doesn’t accept it all
Scars hide behind smiles and sunglasses
The meanings of me hidden in every song
Singing to myself in the night
Always awaiting a new day at dawn

Alone in a room full of people
Seems even the sun will shine different
Upon me, I watch as my shadow follows
Sometimes, seeing the dress she wore,
The day she broke my heart

New ladies, seem attracted to the pain
As if they can chisel at the stone
That protects the remaining blood flow
Guarded by scars from past innocence
Never to come out again
Cleverly disguised, when someone comes…too close

Perhaps when and ever this story unfolds,
The emotion of these moments spilled unto the pages,
The soul will once again…be laid to rest

(big hugggsssssssss) Oh Dennis, this is heartfelt, sweet friend, I find all the time that I cry so much at night, then wake up and feel nothing as though the rejuvenation fairy sprinkled fairy dust on me or something and I have amnesia but I know the scar is there! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Dennis, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Dennis, I'm sorry that you have these sad memories. Sometimes, they just linger on, don't they?
Writing does help, though...

Each and every word flowed gracefully. I especially loved....

Dennis~
This is heartbreakingly beautiful.
I could feel your words as I read.
Nicely done.
