"Flower"
the river flows,
my heart goes,
without you.

people live,
people die,
dont have time to question why.

if you wanna leave, be my guest,
your one of many,
among the rest.

im not hurt,
dont worry bout me,
as time goes by,
i will be free.

it could be lies,
but what do you care,
you dont seem the type,
that worries about whats fair.

so long kid,
Ill see ya soon,
if it wasnt for me,
you wouldnt have bloomed.

*this was wrote years ago for an old boyfriend that was pulling away from me. ironically enough, that same boyfriend is now my husband,father of my children,best friend,and the love of my life.
