Onto the night sky, we four ride,
On our horses of fire and pain,
The curse will fall like an angry tide
Onto the human's astral plain

Suffering is what we bring,
For our goal is the end,
It matters not if you are peasant or king,
You'll all fall to evil's friend

Famine, will bleed you dry,
Fields empty forever and more,
No food for you, thus you may die,
As he stalks the killing floor

Pestillence, a plague he passes
Unto the beings of this place,
The putrifying skin of the masses,
A sign of the weakness of the human race

War, eternal suffering to all,
By blade, club, fist and gun,
Maniacs screaming at war's call,
And the end has finally begun

Death, deliverance final
Is the fear you face on his path,
Of sins, you'll all be in denial,
Cold and terminal shall be his wrath

We are the four warriors of might,
Unstoppable, you'll all die,
It is futile for you to fight,
So surrender your soul and prepare to fly

The time has come for your arrogant ways,
So our force you'll feel,
Our weapons bring death, skin flays,
And into darkness you all reel...

Terrifying, stark and desolate.  A powerfully, apocalyptic poem!  Reminds of hope for better days here on earth, and happier thoughts.

Interesting! I love the reality in this piece. Much enjoyed, no matter how scary it seems. Wonder, if it is too late?

Warm regards, Pat

Darkness and fear is what we all must face or fall to, and that is mostly what this poem is about
