Once Upon This Kiss (sonnet challenge)

The Challenge -

   Take the first verse to this sonnet and add your thoughts, in similar style. Just 4 lines at a 10 count, consecutive lines rhyming or every other ... that's up to you. Post as many times as you would like.
At the end of this thread you can pick your favorites and compose a special sonnet for your Valentine(s).

   Once Upon This Kiss

In a fraile moment, a passionate night
this heart found love thought endless in its plight
It cried before and aft, now it wishes
the sight of day this love never kisses

The moment still as if frozen in time
two paired lips connected as if in rhyme
thoughts left speechless but burning to be heard
as they pressed each moment, sharing each word

Once upon a kiss, as the tale unfolds
passions moment parts and such love unholds
sudden emptiness fills with coming light
the dawn of day before another night

But low and behold such love that is true
for time moves once upon this kiss to you

Would you believe, I've never ever written a sonnet? I will work on this, and hopefully put one togetherbefore Friday.

Great challenge idea.
PS We know Noah will have multiple posts ready. (
