Receiver

Whoever the giver may be,
I am the taker, the receiver.
To few now see -
They see the green, the gold, myriad colours' might,
Yet they do not See!

In explaining to others I grow weak,
And before the beauty they yawn in disinterest.

I am full -
Full of pain and grief;
And in my manhood tears cannot provide release;
Were the filling joy,
In typical human fashion I could expand,
Expecting and demanding more,
But the grief pours in without outlet in me;
Perhaps this too will cause an expansion -
I fear so, for this is much, is too much, to bear;

In the pale light of a dimming bulb my mind creates a message for future peoples -
  It is hidden even from me.
