Yeah, sure! The thought that greed is good still lingers.
Excuse me, please, I've got to cross my fingers!!

Yeah, sure! We know that war's the best solution
To keep oil flowing (and increase pollution!).

Oh reader, please forgive, it's not like me to cry;
It's just my sense that pigs will never fly!

LOL, except the reality thoughts that triggered this aren't at all funny.

I'm going to take my daughter horseback riding today, drink a beer tonight, and write some poetry if my muse is in a cooperative mood.
(and I think I'll stick around on this planet until I get to see a pig fly by!!!)

Thanks for reading and commenting on my short verse, *Yeah!Sure!*

I, too, am an optimist; it's what keeps me alive and kicking. Where there's optimism there's hope, I believe.

However, sometimes reality sets in and I get myslf back on track by getting in touch with my deeper feelings and jotting down stuff like this poem that sometimes comes out as part humourous, part rebellious.

I appreciate your comments and sentiments and wish you and your family long and happy lives. Who knows, you may even get to see pigs flying.

I honestly liked this,for a lite piece,even if my politics are in opposite direction.I am a realist and if they want peace,then thier actions will demand it.And if we are wrong,then so goes the luck of the strong.I am personally ok with cashing in 300k lives today,to save 3 million lives tomorrow.but then........i am a jaded soul
