Silent cry the city bells that no more mark the start of day or serenade our children's play A cry now ringing "Murder!" roar the rocket shells That blast the sunlit, hazen rays Metallic spit on toys that lay A cry now ringing Rifles echo mothers' wail That carry through the city walls Past broken, pictured empty halls A cry now ringing Nothing, nothing, go away! Nothing left to mark the day No children left to children play No cry No ringing Rf |

Sad, very sad. Once again we have to sing, "When will (we) ever learn?" Peace to you, and your loved ones. |
