How I hate the restless nights.......

Haunted (02/04/03JDC)

Can you hear me whisper in your ear?
Can you smell my essence in the air?
Can you feel my gentle touch?
Do you remember us?

Can you see my shadow on your soul?
Can you sense my invisible pull?
Can you reach for me in your dream?
Do you hear my heart scream?

Can you still taste the salt of my skin?
Can you touch the weight of your sin?
Can you go on with the burden of my sorrow?
Do you remember the now empty promise of tomorrow?

Can you fathom who I might be?
Do you understand, I am the ghost what you gave up and still don't see.
