Nobody will ever love you
Because your overweight
Nobody will ever love you
Because you look like a whale
Nobody will ever love you
So your family says

Nobody will ever love you
Until you weigh at least 160
Nobody will ever love you
Because your a 250 lbs. cow
Nobody will ever love you
So your family says

Nobody will ever love you
They repeat over and over
Nobody will ever love you
Until you lose that weight
Nobody will ever love you
So your family says

So I guess
Nobody will ever love me
Because my weight
So my family says

Cold hands means a warm heart

My thinking is...your guess is wrong.
Our outer appearance has nothing to do with the person we really are.
Love yourself first, just the way you are, then others will love you for the light that shines within. hugs, Chris

May I  just echo my sister Nightshade's response?
She took the words right out of my mouth.
Sad, but often a true write as far as parents saying such cruel things.
You have to love yourself first.

Julie?

Just call me "nobody"...

and this is just devastatingly honest pain, simply written yet piercing.

"nobody" is a jerk
stuck on foolish delusions of their own making...
and totally wrong....

you'll see.

I can understand in small ways of what I've been through. with those subtle and not-so-subtle comments that you felt long before they said.
But they are so so soooo wrong.
And they are the ones hurting.
I told someone the other day I'd rather be fat and happy with it then skinny as a  pencil and never satisfied. Everyone loves santa, right?

I've seen a glimpse of your heart, Julie, you are beautiful. And that smile ..yea, beautiful.

Always, Alyssa

I love you, Julie....because just from the glimpse I've seen of you through these pages at PIP, you are a very sweet, sensitive, loving, compassionate, and caring person. You are very special and have a very good heart.
You know what else, Julie? Other people see this, too, from the responses. So, one day there will be someone really special who will love you for who you are on the inside, because you are very, very special, sweet friend.

Julie,

Simply not true!  My twin sister (250+) (I, on the other hand was so thin a stiff wind blew me off a bridge!, story for a different time, and not skinny now, for sure!...)

She met and married one of the nicest guys you'd want to meet...her weight was NEVER a problem to him (he was average height and weight) sadly he died suddenly, and four years later she met and married another really nice man, gentleman and a hunk...Mmmmmmm! He was with her til she passed away. Weight has nothing to do with it. Today, I spent about four hours with a lady who can barely make it through a doorway and her husband.  and he adores and worships her....(he is average W & H).
They both have (had) a happiness within and more importantly loved other people, quite outgoing....
so, cultivate that and men will be drawn to you.....

Hugs, Pat

Well Julie,
The saddest thing is that if you are hearing this...they aren't seeing you.
Couldn't find a more beautiful young woman I think. ThisDiamond

None of it is true.

What is life without poetry and adventure?
"Little sister" is just another way of saying "Guardian Angel"!

A weighty subject, Julie. Keep your head up high, and look past those put-downs. I'd be a lot more concerned about the health issues than about love. There are many people in love who are outside those so-called perfect weight charts.
Did you know you have a really terrific smile?

I dont care what any one says as long as you love your self is all that matters if someone cant love you for your self you really dont need them in your life any way.you dont need any one  taking your self away from you.

I'd rather not have a family than to have one like that!

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Julie, I hope this certainly isn't related to your own family, sweet friend, families should be much more encouraging than that and the worst thing I'd want is to make my children in the future feel bad about themselves and if I was concerned compassionately talk it over with them and tell them how much I love them! (sad sih) This is very heartaching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
