Swallowed The Apologies

Pondering your reasons
With nothing explained
Deciding  fact or fiction
My attention was gained

By controlling the mind
The way's you express
Captivating once more
With charm you possess

Your written apologies
What could they mean
When saying your sorry
While sat behind a screen

Should I readily accept
The apologies from you
Expressions of regret
Could any of this be true

Fed upon those words
By tapping a few keys
Absorbing all the sorry's
I swallowed the apologies

it can be so hard to know when someone means what they say.
Especially when you can't look into their eyes or hear their voice.
its a rocky road to have to discern what to do.
But when you think it out like this, your headed rightly,

Hope, since I don't know what the apology concerns, I really don't know what to say.
I do think, though, that you really explained your thoughts and feelings in this poem. You have a very good way of doing that. I enjoy reading your poems, though I've gotten a little behind on my replies.

Forgiveness is a very cleansing thing, even if you do have to choke them down sometimes! Very beautiful pice of poetry you have here! Thank you for sharing!
