sleep blesses
this winter malaise
with a blanket
of dreams,
sweet salvation
from the relentless grip
of industrial grey,
and piercing chill,
freeing me tonight
wrapped only
in the onxy sky,
i can dream now,
the day finally still,
and find you,
in this only place,
where i can openly
love you

You are very right when you say winter gets to you right about now. Thats why all the flights are filled with people going to florida. But cheer up, the good news is winter is winding down with 6 more weeks to go. Bad new is.....6 more weeks of winter and I aint even a groundhog. But lets take 2 weeks at a time.

You described a dreary winter's day so well--but it sounds like your dreams are sweet and cozy!

May your days be as warm as your dreams!
