this loving poem I read My Love's the one who wrote it and I love what he said "Fingertips" is the title his poems are filled with emotion In each of his loving words I feel his deep devotion He says there's much he'd like to say but words won't reach his lips So would I let him do the talking with just his fingertips He goes into much detail of his message he wants to convey With his fingertips and kisses he'll tell me what he has to say We know we're very blessed my dear sweet love and I We write each other poetry with a loving sigh We found our love together so sensitive and sweet We love each other so deeply and are so happy we did meet For the rest of our lives we know together we will be Loving, singing, smiling and writing each other poetry . . . . How nice to be able to write and share poetry with your love. That is something to treasure. My last long-term love's mother was an Professor of English...You can bet he he could write a proper sentence, but kinda shut down poetically speaking, Just too rigid....sadly...in that regard... Yeah, Pat... It seems a lot of men would probably be able to write more poetry. They probably would write it if they weren't so afraid that writing poetry isn't "macho" and that women wouldn't like them then. If only they knew....Huh? Thanks for your comments.... "Love makes the world go around" |

Yeah, I wish that Gary could get a computer so he could post his poems. He sent me two more today that he had written. He is really a good writer. He can even write stories. He also is an artist. Some of his drawings and paintings are amazingly good. Okay, I'll quit bragging on him...for now anyway.... "Love makes the world go around" |

Oh Ethel i have missed you friend. Isn't getting poetry from someone you love, the most precious present ever!? i love it. Gary sounds like a very talented man indeed. The creative ones are always the best eh?  i'm so glad he says such loving things to you, you deserve it! found much happiness reading this Ethel Mae - yep, read in a thread it was your middle name, and it sounded sooooo pretty i just had to keep saying it in my head. ha ha. my mothers mum was called May. Hello, Gemma  It's good to see you. I've missed you and your poems....... and your up-lifting replies. You know exactly how I feel about my Gary........ . . Yeah, that's my name. My parents still call me "Ethel Mae". You know in the South lots of folks are called two names.....like "Billy Bob" and "Linda Faye", and "Ethel Mae"...  I wonder why that is???HaHa!! Well hello, Linda It's really good to see you here. Yeah, I'm his and he's mine.......and we plan on it staying like that...HeeHee!!!! I love it when he writes poetry for me. He can sing, too, and play a guitar. I've got a guitar, but don't play very well. I used to sing with a quartet, though, so I guess we'll keep singing to each other, too...
