I am not lost, just busy |

I maneuver through the wibble wobbles with everyone else, up the hills and past the straight-aways and everyday I get where I am going. The radio my only company keeps me singing and not thinking, but a flip through every station with no good results provided reason for silence. And the question of where I am really headed plops into my mind like a cookie too long dipped in milk. I try to ignore it for a bit, but not for long, it is dripping and growing. where are you really headed and why? Well, to and fro, I answered the soggy question, yes that is certainly it, I do not need a destination when I am so good at being in between… two forty hour a week jobs, two drastically different destinations, with thirty miles between, two big kids and two little ones, way more than two dogs, but only one husband (and one mother-in-law), and excepting for the latter two I am pretty good at being between. But the question does not leave and being busy as I am (see above) I refuse to be subject to such insinuations, and I am now perturbed and starting to yell. I know now (looking back) that it is rather futile to yell at a soggy cookie dripping in one’s mind but- I am not lost on life’s highway! There is a difference between repeatedly going back and forth and lost. Rationally I solve the whole dilemma by simply telling the question it will have to wait because here comes a wibble and that I know from habit will be followed by a wobble and I really must concentrate, I am much too busy to think. Goodness, JB, you really ARE busy, aren't you. No wonder you don't have time to reply to the poetry you read. You do good to even have time to read, don't you..... Hey, I was just wondering, do the husband(and/or Mother-in-law) understand about your lack of time? "Love makes the world go around" |

This is one of the most unique, thought-provoking, sensible, & "wibbly-wobbley," yet straight-forward poems that I have ever read on this site. Enjoyed. |

hi jellybeans---it is very good to read you when ever. This is refreshing in its reality. Enjoyed and can relate to a degree from way back when. Take care of you. Hugs. |
