My hand on the mouse
and a mouse on my hand
my shoulder
my neck
You guys aren't helping me write

He creeps around the computer
and she clings to my fingers
as they move to the keys
attempting to type something

Now he's on the bed
at my feet
crawling on my plate
and stealing a nibble of my treat

That's okay
I don't mind eating
after him
It's just where his feet have been
that bothers me

She's crawling down my arm
and he's dragging my celery away
I just had a great idea
Wait!
She's gone.
Come back here!
Damn....

Hey!
How did he get up there?!

I am copying this forthwith and sending it to my sister, who is HEAVILY into mouse breeding, & has a garage full of the little #&%@&$'s..... I will actively attempt not to claim it as my own!

(smiles) Oh Shay, I just love this, sweet friend, this made me giggle as I think mice are so very cute and just wish there was a way we can protect them and rid them of the ability to carry diseases! (sigh) This is lovely, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Shay, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Shay, this is a cute poem....I'm just one of those women who jumps up in a chair, on the couch, the table, the counter top or somewhere when I see a mouse. And, I call the tiniest mouse a  rat. I'll just let you and Ed's sister have all of them. Do you want me to send it to you if I see one?  Wait, I don't know how it would get into the shipping container, because I'm certainly not going to pick it up......

*giggles* Well, if you ever happen to have a mouse in a shipping container lying around somewhere, I'd be quite happy to take it off your hands.

I'm down to just ten of them now.
