What does it contain?

Easy,
       it contains nothing.  (a great deal of nothing)

       But yet, you still want more.

Ahh.  It must contain something you say.

       Perhaps:
                answers to questions
                        never asked,
                or questions with answers
                        not remembered.
Can't be.

You need reason, logic
    infallible proof
               - voodoo magic.

Drink up (see what memories come to light).

                  The imaginary girl stands along the road
                  dead snake in hand
                  only recently removed from
                  warm, dry, sand.
(not a memory that I recall)

         Maybe a story in a book.
               - some verse from an erroneous scroll
               - or just graffiti on a rest stop wall.

But I digress,
     recessed in memories
     yet told.

It contains nothing.

#2. I haven't the slightest idea what it's about.

Neat concept, and nice imagery, but I'm afraid you lost me. I don't understand it.

I believe the most important component of a poem is rhythm. Rhythm is the heartbeat of a poem. It is what makes poetry poetry.
