It became a new day I hardly noticed lost as i was in my own grief the sun returned I did not see the grey clouds were inside of me The dew lay fresh yet i felt no breath of early morn in my poor health The earlier bird in its tree sang yet i heard only a grey blank i opened my eyes and truly i saw a new day dawned in my fog filled eyes I blinked away tears and spoke to me and the world of the woes i felt The sun hid its face the dew went dry the cold returned I am content Take a good look at my face |
