I saw the tears you never cried, The love you never showed. I felt the cringe, within your eyes, A black and dulling glow. You work, it is the life you live, Ethical and respected. I hear the words you never say, Though they’re still expected. The hugs you’ve never given me Are felt in just my mind. No temper, you’re an engineer, Your type is hard to find. You push me to do better, I need to work, of course. You see my tears and still look past, Continuing your force. Above all else, ignore my pain, I’ll watch you work, to earn respect. (Relationships are what bring gain).
