Standing upon a rock I gaze upon the blue lagoon Once more and once again Looking back upon the distant past Realizing this book of full moon is coming to rest upon me Soon, I too…shall rest One more dream spiral Shall crest upon my tranquillity day Pass’ me by Before night falls Never to come again Looking back I see love pieces of me scattered about here and there, They cast their shadows as if t’wer a beacon Asking, "must you leave me here?" Tomorrow, I shall disappear into a vapor And what’s left of my soul shall glide across the sky leaving only a memory of me and the sun to rise upon you…once more |
