standing on a shadow's lace

For Once

day again
turns into night
where I watch
dungeon dreamers
my mind
leaves this place
feather touching
another’s dreams
attached to his dreams
floats worries
constant, thick
and grey
clouding his calm
I fan the fog
in hopes
I can
scatter them
so for once
he can
sleep in peace
