Sadly, today we lost a member of the choir who always sang the best tune he was given. Good bye, Maurice Gibb. "How deep is your love?" Yours was a deep well. We shall miss your heart and soul. Maurice Gibb (Bee Gees) died this morning at age 53, cardiac arrest before surgery for an intestinal blockage. May your soul keep singing and dancing in the clouds, Maurice. didnt think the BeeGees were cool, never wanted to like them, and ended up loving them, enjoying the night fever back then, sad right now |

You know, when you think of their early songs: "I Started a Joke", "I Just Gotta Get a Message to You", "To Love Somebody", "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart", and "Holiday", they were truly an inspired band. To them, and to you, I salute a legacy of great Pop music! So pleased you wrote a tribute, Kacy. ~sad smiles~ JkF |

(tears fall down my cheeks) Although I was born just as disco was entering its final years, I have heard many of Gibb's works and I admire him deeply as he truly gave his heart to the youth and soul of the world! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, I will miss him too, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

That was so sad, and so pretty. I am living proof that ghosts exist. Which is an oximoron but I don't care ;) |

Perhaps because words are what I play with, "It's only words, but words are all I have" was always my favorite... even though I've never taken away any hearts with mine. *S* I was listening to the radio all day Saturday... and when his publicist said it didn't look good, my heart sank. Thank you for this, midnitesun. |

I once read that the death of an artist is like a supernova....I'm not familiar with the Bee Gees but I am familiar with supernovas.....lets just all hug, * s * |

Hello Kacy Like so many others I was shocked to hear of the passing of Maurice Gibb, for he and his brothers considered themselves Australians even though they were born in England. I have always been a fan of the Bee Gees and Maurice's death has certainly saddened me. Take care.....sue I am in motion |

Thanks to everyone who helped say goodbye to Maurice. 'How can you mend a broken heart?' I listened to that tune almost every day one year, in order to get over a broken heart. |
