Expectantly she waits for the call Eagerly.....Anxiously Time stands still, seemingly Seconds like minutes Minutes like hours Hours seem an eternity Almost time, she thinks, as she waits She tries to relax, to be patient But time had been so long ago So long since she talked to him last After all, Yesterday seemed years ago......... Thats always a crazy feeling..and all the blood rushes to your head and your heart starts beating really fast each and every time the phone rings...just for it to be your grandma  its a rough wait i know dont get too impatient ethel  |

the font alliterations work well for you here, creative. i liked this. the language you decided to use. and it's heartfelt [my gawd, i hate to use that word--it seems that's all i ever say in comments nowadays, and eh]. but yeah, you got it, i think you do. -chris. |

Raph, I'm glad that you like it. Yeah, it's awful waiting for a call, isn't it......and to beat it all, he's usually earlier than we plan.  (tears fall down my cheeks) I've felt so violated by this wireless service, now my provider always tells me "If you'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again. If you need help, hang up and then dial your operator!" more than twice! (wipes tears) It can feel so merciless, sweet friend, my heart goes out to you, we all love you so much! Noah, thank you for your reply. You are so sweet. Yeh, I hate that when the operator says that...... Or rather, when the RECORDING says that. Now that's what I hate.... when the recordings come on when you're trying to make a business call. Sometimes you go through three or four different messages before you get the department you want to talk to. Ugh........ "Love makes the world go around" |

Dixie, yep...these long-distance relationships get to one's patience sometimes. But I love him so much that I will wait. Still, it doesn't keep the time from just dragging by. It seems so long from one day to the next, sometimes....... "Love makes the world go around" |
