The sun beats brightly down
The perfumed air is sweet
Down on earth a Goddess walks
And flowers grow beneath her feet

Pretty is as pretty does
Beauty is a superficial thing
For true beauty is of the soul
The kind of peace the birds sing

Earhtly beauty fades away
Its does not stand the test of time
But a pure soul and spirit
Is as one in the light divine

Only in this lowly form
Does the body surpass the soul
Only to us humans do looks matter
God prefers us whole

Dancing spirits in the suns rays
From a decaying body in the ground
A true heart and a true spirit
Is where a true beauty is found

Open your eyes and you will see
A Goddess lives in me and you
No matter how you look
The light always shines through
