Soon The moon hangs low but yet is far Reminding me how near you are Its glow upon my skin is such It seems within a finger’s touch If moons and stars can reach my hand Defying space from sky to land Then just a path from coast to coast Is intimately warm and close A simple call would sooth my ears Erasing miles and needless tears Perhaps your heart will want me soon Why can’t you see how close the moon? I hate to appear as selfish... but I sure enjoy your works. My father too thinks the days are slumbering. He talks how time was wisping by but now it appears molasses.
