Are You Real? I feel you always near me Are you still here? Is it just my imagination Your voice I hear. Is it true you never left me Then why can't I see you, too? I wish I could hold you; Make this vision I dream real. I wish you were like you were before Long before our lives became wrong, Long before, back to the days when you were strong, I wish you were. For now I can't see you, But I feel you; I hear you, Are you still here? Angel are you breathing? Are you real? |

I guess I have to pen more clearly--the poem was about the death of a loved one. |

Pen of Passion, No, you wrote just fine, in my case, I understood the exact intent, which is rare, for more often than not my interpretation is far from poet's intent. The response here is interesting in that it seems each has a found a different meaning, which I think makes this an especially good poem, for each can utilize poem to meet their own character, and take something from it.... The poem is deeply touching and my heart goes out to you if this is a personal experience (current)...I ~know~ they are there and at first it does seem like that is not enough.... I lost a man (fiance) I cherished when I was late teens, and recently my twin sister...(3yrs. ago). It is difficult to find the words to express the depth of feeling of loss and of the just one more hug needed...but, you did that quite well here....A friend of mine had her first Christmas without the love of her life, this season; it was one of those once in a lifetime relationships...her feeling of loss is immeasurable, this poem would capture how she feels, in part. God bless and may you find renewed strength on a daily basis. I just now am beginning to grieve for my sister. We all handle death differently, and denial (for me) is a great tool for coping, letting nature take it's course. Hugs and warm regards, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

(tears fall down my cheeks) I too understand these feelings, sweet friend, you know everything is real yet something deep inside can all be papier-mache and you don't know where the genuity has gone too! (big hugggssssss) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
