Lonliness (01/01/03) I would write my misery in a song But contrary to the cliché, there is no one to sing along I wear my sorrow alone A blanket of solitude I don Freedom has cost me company There’s no one to comfort me I know it takes time for wounds to heal And I know someday I will once again feel But the loneliness is holding me down I’m not sure “happily ever after” can be found I ache to be loved for mind, body and soul I cry silent tears to be touched until my heart is again full So here I sit Penning my desolation in word Hoping this time I might be heard |

loneliness is not much of a friend...and certainly a cold companion... your words are heard by all that have felt it and experienced it.... |

Perfectly captured - i was listening to some Garry Moore as I was reading this and coincidentally the song that was playing was "Stiil got the blues for you" - the music seemed to provide a poignant bed for the reading. Look forward to reading more. God bless and keep you, Namaste! Boh [This message has been edited by Bohemianaus (01-07-2003 07:03 PM).] |
