my time polishing broken glass has come to an end our farewell speeches; you know the tone of voice like reading a confession with a gun pressed to your skull warding off the waterworks whenever possible for one must project some kind of absurd humility when it comes to closing these things it is easier after they leave or when you do when their visual flair no longer affects your point of view when all the scents and curves are relinquished to memory many days and nights from now I will mourn her passing deal with it in my usual unfavorable manner toasting myself, there is no longer anyone to condemn my methods I am much better off alone hollow broken free to do whatever I want though there is little I feel like doing at this moment other than crawling back to her doorstep and forgetting what led me away from it to begin with [This message has been edited by Drexler_McStyles (01-06-2003 11:34 AM).] |
