Don't bait me
or string me along
to drop in your bucket
and dangle over the edge,
I've got my own fish to fry.

You might try another line
and see what you come up with
while you grab a couple beers
and spend the afternoon drowning your sorrows
crying about the one that got away.

Might as well call it a day
and try your luck tomorrow
just remember what they say about the early bird,
there's always a catch
but don't hold your breath.

Why not open a new can of worms
and try to make them fly.

Sorry guys, it's been a rough day at sea~

even a rough day produces smooth poetry from you.. sometimes the same old bait just doesn't get it...and the boring part is the one fishing doesn't get it.
