Mi Amor I’m sorry you were disappointed with what you found You had me so high, there was no where to go but down It’s experience and scars That makes us who we are Ten years have past Since we saw each other last In that time your memory of me You did enhance I didn’t have a chance My wounds may be deep But with you I wanted to take a leap The awful truth is clear I have to say goodbye without a tear Because if I were to let you see me cry You would take the time to ask why And your concern would make my heart melt You would pity how I felt So I will turn away at last Holding close to my heart All the memories of our past ~Lo deseo habría podido ser más. Wow. Great wisdom here. Isn't it interesting how our perceptions and knowledge change with time? Sometimes the bad disappears, sometimes the past becomes surreal. To temper the balance and think with ones head rather than ones heart is admirable. I wish I had that talent. Although, the pain is there either way. Thought provoking...indeed.  |

Terribly sad and painful, but projects what I just learned myself. You cannot go back. People change, and even if for the better or worse, I don't think they are the same, except those who are true friends, even were they lovers, that friendship lasts a lifetime, but, too often one wants more than the other has to offer. If it didn't work then, I don't believe it will now...but, just my opinion.... And, no doubt for one, it hurts as much or more than the first time around. Though sad, enjoyed this.
