This is what I think love should always be like. Sometimes when you cry, Your tears move my soul so much that I ache to hold your spirit to mine And make the world see How much beauty there can be in pain. Sometimes when you touch me, Each cell in my body rejoices And it is as though the stars and the planets, And every secret of the cosmos... Is singing through my blood. Sometimes when I'm hurting, I can't comprehend how you always Manage to delve deep into the forces which created me, And understand... and care... enough To make it all worthwhile. Sometimes when I close my eyes, I repeat your name like a mantra; And I realise that what we share will Leave an indelible mark, an immortal impression On the consciousness of the entire world. Sometimes in moments of sacred solitude I am myself through you; And I finally completely understand every moment and thought, Each event and feeling, I have ever had in my life. My world makes sense now. I love you. The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |

Sometimes when I close my eyes, I repeat your name like a mantra I especially loved this line...I agree with you completely, this is what love should be. It's silly the stupid things we let get between this sensation you describe and the 'reality' we create which destroys its very essence. I don't even know if that made sense... |

I'm touched by all of your comments.. thank you so much for reading and replying.. imagine what kind of world we'd live in if we could love everyone like this!! Hmm, on second thought, marriage might be difficult though.  The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears. |
