Marsh Fritillary I watched a pretty butterfly Emerging from her chrysalis. Her folded wings, not meant to fly Until they're dried by suns first kiss. Then with her wings a-fluttering, She waited there until she knew That they were strong enough to wing Her weight away and then she flew. I sent a wish for her to take. At Heaven's door, I hope she'll lay My wish upon God's windowsill And He will honor it, someday! Betty Lou Hebert |

Betty Lou -- this was full of light, loveliness and hope. I really enjoyed the picture, the meter, rhythm and rhyme -- all of it, as well as the picture it painted in mind! ........jo |

Dear Betty Lou A beautiful 'delicate' poem. Butterflies are God's rainbows in flight. A one day wonder. Love Isobel ox |
