Race Days Philippians 3:12-15 It was one of those race days. With every half mile, every hurtle cleared I grew weary. New runners joined the race, a whistle started them almost every 5 minutes. I liked to see the new ones start so, I looked back to watch. Looking back was my mistake, for I took my eyes from the ultimate prize. I stumbled, and I fell. I lay there on the track for such a long, long time. After a while I looked up and watched the others pass me by. I had started to pick myself up then I realized that a familiar friend had been there with me the whole time. This type of race, it's never easy. You run for so long it's easy to get tired. However, we must keep our eyes on the prize, for that's what makes the race worth running. "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing" |

Great job. It is a long race and God knows we will stumble often. The end is the prize. Joyce |
